What is a head canon?
A headcanon is a series of little assumptions that you make about a show (it’s plot, characters, ect) that are not enough to create a fanfic but you still think of when you are filling in gaps. They can be serious (Mycroft has an eating disorder) or funny (John likes to watch Doctor Who).
Is there a difference between head canon and head cannon?
‘Head canon’ is not to be confused with ‘head cannon’ which is as Kels likes to say would be “a weapon that projects heads at a great speed.”
How do I submit head canon?
Click the Ask! Give us your head canon (anon or not) in words and we’ll put in up on a pretty colored slide! If you choose to submit as a non-anon we’ll make sure to credit you!
I submitted a head canon 5 minutes ago/yesterday/last week. Why haven’t I seen it yet?
We can’t promise that the ask didn’t eat your head canon (because that does happen on occasion) but what is more likely is that it’s in our queue.
We post our canon in the order that we receive them and we only post a certain number a day in order to make them last and so each submission can get its time in the spotlight. That means that there is a always a queue… which is probably where yours is!
Don’t fret just keep checking the blog for new canon :)
